The Global Journalism Project is a collaboration between 15 journalism students from the Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (KU) and universities from Australia, Romania, the United Kingdom and Kyrgyzstan.
We covered different stories concerning Covid-19 and wanted to report on them with a constructive approach while also looking at concepts from different countries.
What solutions and alternatives are there for canceled concerts, the struggles of local businesses, conspiracy theories, the excessive demand of digital technology, graduating high school without proper festivities and the lack of physical contact?
Because of the unusual circumstances due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we researched mostly via video chat and were dependent on self-filmed videos from our protagonists from all over the world – that is what made this project extra special.
